Shopping

I am on a roll today!
But don't expect any posts next week; I shall be cramming for my worst (but last, woo!) exam then.
Anyway, I went shopping yesterday, and here's what I bought. The umbrella and the eyeshadow kit are from H&M, the rest is from Primark. I was only going to town to accompany a friend, and just planning to get concealer and cosmetic pads from Boots, but I shockingly came back with bags full of flowers and bows and the colour pink.
Which seems to prove that, sadly, I'll never be able to fully embrace androgynous style. I just can't function without my girly fix. Because, look how cute!

I haven’t abandoned this blog for good, honestly.

In the first half of July I’ll be back home and posting will return to normal.
But right now I just have too much going on. And there’s really no point in writing about what happens in class and after school, because firstly, it is probably a lot more interesting for the people concerned than you, and secondly, I don’t really want to be writing about other people behind their back. On a public blog. In English.
Désolée!
Imagine that – apologising for having a life, heh. But as I said, it won’t be long until I’ll be back to blogging and reading blogs and basically, being in touch with what’s going on in the world. But if I’m being honest, this break from it all is rather refreshing. Besides, I’m still daily using my Facebook, Twitter and e-mail accounts. Therefore, I still am.
I was going to go on a school day trip to Lyon today, but it was cancelled due to bad weather. (Which really is depressing this month. I’m always forced to wear my jeans and hoodie and look boring or put on colourful summery dresses and risk getting a cold. And yes, most mornings I choose the latter and have had luck so far.) Anyway, so I decided to go shopping in Chambéry instead. Very few shops to choose from, but I still managed to spend all the money the excursion would have cost me, and more.
Bought some jewellery from Pimkie. And focused on rings this time, because until now I only had a couple and almost never wore them. So obviously that was a problem that had to be solved. Here are those that I bought (plus one anklet) on a Vogue Paris spread by Mario Sorrenti:
I also managed to find a big bookshop and spent a considerable amount of time and money there. Yesterday a teacher gave me Le Petit Prince to read when I was waiting for other students to finish the exercises we were working on. It is actually comprehensible and encouraged me to buy some books in French myself. So yeah, I left most of the money in the bookshop. Decided to start off with novels I’d read before in other languages so I'd already know what was going on:
Don’t know when exactly I’ll have the time to read them, though, as I already have a list of over thirty books I want to get through this summer, plus I recently received my university reading list. But it’s alright because there’s no decent telly in the summer anyway.

ReUse Republic

ReUse Republic is a project where young Estonian designers give their personal touch to last season's high street clothes that haven’t sold. They also offer some original designs. Each item at this design fair is totally unique, but not too pricey. Perfect! A year ago I went and bought the following things:
Vest by Diana Kurves: Jacket by Kristina Tatarinova: Earrings by Marleen Armei: This year I went again and spent a considerably bigger amount of money, but I couldn’t be more pleased with what I got.
Jacket by Kirill Safonov: Jacket by Mariana Kolesnik: Bracelet by Helen Valk:

Jimmy Choo for H&M

I didn’t make it to an H&M store yesterday. And I’m crying inside thinking about all these greasy fingers grabbing things that I wanted to buy.
And to pour salt on the wounds, I’m writing a post on the items I would really love to have.
Although, to be completely honest, I expected more from this collection. The shoes aren’t literally to die for and even the crying inside bit was more of me being a drama queen than actual depression. But nevertheless, and even though I’m not a label whore, given the chance, I’d still grab them. They’re Jimmy Choos after all.
And these are my favourites:
