Um, speaking of painting the world rainbow by dyeing our hair...

Charlotte Free looking insanely cool:

Also, check out my current hairspiration:

Kerli herself described it on Twitter like this: "My hair is about to look like the powerpuff girls had sex with the smurfs all over it." Ha! I would fucking love to give a hairdresser these instructions one day. I'd also love my hair be long again, so I could do stuff like that to it... (Grow, God damn it!)

Punk Maire Antoinette

This is one of my favourite recent stylings. Rococo plus punk equals amazingness in my book. And Audrey Kitching and Kerli obviously look very pretty. I basically want all the clothes and accessories from that shoot. Oh, and the hair; man, the hair... Either one of the two would be absolutely perfect, kthnxbye.

Oh wow! Book clutches

I love books and I love purses, so quite unsurprisingly, Kate Spade Book of the Month clutches are the coolest things I’ve seen in a while. Top points for the idea.
I'd love to go out, carrying a classic under my arm.
Here's the selection: The Great Gatsby, The Importance of Being Earnest, Great Expectations. Which is your favourite book (clutch)?

I feel like I'm the worst so I always act like I'm the best

The last few weeks have been hectic, apologies for no new posts. I’m slowly working on some exciting DIY projects, though.
Until then, I’ll leave you with a song that feels like it’s been written about/for me. The video looks cool too (I want the dollar dress).
And by the way, I just found out that Marina and the Diamonds will be performing in my university this autumn. Awesome.

But I want those: Modcloth (3)

Talking mostly 'bout her sex appeal

Still loving those Prada eyebrow glasses. In fact, I may have now crossed the not-so-fine line between love and obsession. Wantwantwant.

But I want those: Black Milk

Black Milk is an online store that makes seriously fierce leggings and bodysuits. Check 'em out: Pictures from shop.blackmilkclothing.com

Couture picks

Here are my favourite looks from autumn 2010 haute couture shows.

Elie Saab:

Alexis Mabille:

Chanel:

Jean Paul Gaultier:

Valentino:

Christian Dior:

Wouldn't mind having any of these gowns, no.

Mag bits

There isn’t much shopping to be done in a tiny town like Chambéry, so I mostly bought magazines. Here are some nice – and not so nice – things I found in them:
Glamour France August 2010:
I kind of wish I hadn’t seen some of the before pictures of now-stylish celebrities.
And that I’d have only seen the earlier style of others. Mischa used to look so utterly stylish!+ Everything about this look. From the car to the sunglasses. Want. + These Prada glasses, and that I’m not the only one who likes them. Also, that I’m not the only one who is less than thrilled about the idea of more SATC films.
InStyle UK July 2010:
Oh no. I’ve been behind many of your crazy style choices, Rihanna, but a bum bag (/fanny pack) is really taking it too far. + Snake photographs by Guido Mocafico on the wall in Elton John’s LA home. Loving these! Also kind of enjoying the thought of how they’d freak out some of my friends. (That’s just the kind of person I am, I suppose.)
+ Nicholas Kirkwood leather and snakeskin stilettos – yes, please. + Also yes to this Dune necklace. + In my opinion, Kaya Scodelario is one of the prettiest girls ever. On Skins both with her slutty party make-up and a completely clean-faced look, and also in this spread. The lingerie she’s wearing is lovely too. A style article on Mischa Barton. A few years too late, don't you think? Have you seen her recently?
+ Good advice!
Cosmopolitan France July 2010:
+ This pretty passport cover from lesinvasionsephemeres.com.
+ These adorable USB sticks!
+ …or rather these. The animal ones look super cute, but these have a slightly more professional air to them.
I find this Nivea Calm&Care deodorant ad quite disturbing.
+ I love basically all the Miu Miu shoes from that collection, but these are among my favourites.
