Ainda sobre os Oscars fui ao fundo do baú buscar este desenho do Martin Scorcese do ano passado. Tenho alguma curiosidade em ver o filme "A invenção de Hugo".

Still tuned in the Oscars i went to the archives from last year to get this drawing of Martin Scorcese. I have some curiosity to see Hugo.

Its been a while since i posted a pencil sketch so before napping here goes a caricature of Taylor Lautner that performs the character of Jacob Black in New Moon´s Twilight the vampire saga movie. Did it in 15 minutes just for fun time to sleep now a new week is coming along and Christmas scent is aproaching all the way enjoy it, its only once a year , so go out there and make your good deed and share a good moment.

Feliz Aniversario Henry Fonda!
Sempre gostei de "Once upon a time in the west" do Sergio Leone, na minha opinião acho que é um dos melhores westerns de sempre e como apreciador deste género de filmes aproveitei hoje que é o aniversário do já falecido enormissimo actor Henry Fonda e desenhei um esboço com a melhor ferramenta de desenho, Bic Cristal claro, para quem gosta de desenhar e fazer esboços rápidos e estudos aconselho andarem sempre com uma, ou várias (as minhas aparecem e desaparecem em vários sitios), bem como um sketchbook o Moleskine é o ideal.
E bom depois destas divagações todas, de volta ao trabalho...
Henry Fonda, como nota de curiosidade a expressão neste desenho faz-me lembrar outro grande actor; Peter O´Toole, a arte é feita de comparações engraçadas!

These Elton John caricature sketches were done for a regular caricature competition at the NCN- National Caricaturists Network its an international non-profit organization dedicated to the art of caricature. It is made up of professional caricaturists from all over the world, students of caricature and people who have an interest in the art form. I might choose one of these three sketches to colour it, still haven't decided which one because artist vision changes day to day, when i finish a drawing i´m happy with it, but the next minutes i hate it! Maybe i´m pushing myself? I don't know it just happens frequently.

This is a sketch and study for a future caricature of the amazing Michael Phelps i tryed to phocus not only on his expressions (he has an amazing and funny face for caricaturing!) as well on his anatomy like his long arms. I also accented his shoulders i believe those are his secret weapon as such a powerful swimmer. Who thinks he gonna stops winning more medals on Beijing 2008? I´m betting on him again!
