Happy Birthday caricature of Elvis Presley The King would make is 76th anniversary today and as he is one of my idols from youth i painted him to do him my proper homage, its still a work in progress but i like it this way simple. The King lives on!

Heres a caricature of Bjork the famous Iceland singer, i really her music and as i found out her birthday was today i decided to do a litle drawing and painting. Also I had an accident playing football so my left hand i swallowed and i find myself dificult to concentrate as it hurts like hell, besides that wish everyone a happy monday and Happy Birthday Bjork!

Bellow the pencil sketch used, as you can see i modified it a little bit while progressing in the painting but i like the style in the sketch i might do another version :)

Um Feliz Aniversário atrasado mas eu fiz o esboço no dia 18 de Fevereiro e resolvi finalizar. Ainda não está terminado mas acho que vou deixar assim mesmo.

Sempre gostei de "Once upon a time in the west" do Sergio Leone, na minha opinião acho que é um dos melhores westerns de sempre e como apreciador deste género de filmes aproveitei hoje que é o aniversário do já falecido enormissimo actor Henry Fonda e desenhei um esboço com a melhor ferramenta de desenho, Bic Cristal claro, para quem gosta de desenhar e fazer esboços rápidos e estudos aconselho andarem sempre com uma, ou várias (as minhas aparecem e desaparecem em vários sitios), bem como um sketchbook o Moleskine é o ideal.
E bom depois destas divagações todas, de volta ao trabalho...
Henry Fonda, como nota de curiosidade a expressão neste desenho faz-me lembrar outro grande actor; Peter O´Toole, a arte é feita de comparações engraçadas!
