Hair New Era

Let's put this out there now: I am a Red Sox fan. B worships the Phillies. It's okay - they play nicely together (they're in different leagues and very rarely do they play each other). The Phils have already clinched the NL East division championship and no one really cares about the Nats (sorry, it's kind of true), so B was able to score some really good tickets to last night's game for pretty cheap.

Is it wrong that I was most excited about the tailgating and eating a ballpark hot dog? (Which, for the record, I did, along with french fries and beer, capped off with Cracker Jacks. Ouch.)

The game was a quick one - the Nats won, 2-1 - but we had a really good time hanging out and enjoying the amazing early-Fall weather.

Thanks for the tix, babe. I had a blast!

I am jetting off to a baseball game - the O's vs. the Red Sox at Camden Yards (go Sox!) - so I'm closing up shop a bit early today. I hope you're all heading out soon too and getting on with enjoying the weekend ASAP. It's gonna be another hot one, which (hopefully) means sailing, drinks by the water, maybe jumping off some docks, and generally relaxing (let's just pretend I'm not working this weekend too - boo).

Did I really just read that there is a chance of snow today?? I thought we'd been over this, weather - it's spring now - act like it! Jeesh. Fine fine, if this is just March's way of finishing up the lion part, and you're about to go out like a lamb, I guess I can deal for one more weekend...

In the meantime, I'll be opening windows (after the snow, I suppose), enjoying the sunshine if it peeks out for a bit, and having a good weekend. We're going to a friend's 30th birthday fiesta (margarita! ay yi yi!) and then back in time for baseball for B - if it doesn't get rained out, that is. Either way, I'm excited for another weekend and some fun hanging out with friends.

Today was temperate and sunny! For the first time in, like, forever. I even busted out my sunglasses on the way to lunch. A Friday and sunny - what's better than that? (Jeesh, low expectations, huh?) The best part is that it's supposed to be like this through the weekend - Sunday is even supposed to be in the 50s. Huzzah!

I have a very early morning Pilates reformer class tomorrow (it's free - woohoo!) and B has baseball practice on Sunday. Doesn't that sound sort of spring-y to you? I'm very excited. Perhaps we'll even get out our bikes at some point this weekend - wish I had stylin' bicycle glasses like the ones above to wear. :)
