The Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is probably my favourite red carpet event because that’s when we tend to see the craziest outfits. This year the costumes were on the whole disappointingly nice and simple, so let’s get the boring ones out of the way first: Diane Kruger wore the most boring dress of the evening. And possibly ever.
