Sick hair

Just came back from the hairdresser’s and I’ve got to admit, this is the most drastic makeover I’ve ever had. At one point when I looked up from the Hair Magazine I was reading and saw myself in the mirror I felt for the first time in my life a bit sorry for the girls in America’s Next Top Model who cry about their hair being cut. Because the last time I had hair that short was when I was a baby. The hairdresser kept on cutting and I freaked out for a second but then I remembered that this was exactly what I’d come in for. I had brought an old picture of Agyness Deyn and said that I wanted exactly that.
I did that because I was embarrassed to reveal my real inspiration for the look: Jonny Lee Miller as Sick Boy in Trainspotting.

That’s the look I was really going for. But you know, without the heroin needle sticking out of my arm.
Unfortunately there were some complications. See, my hair had previously been dyed reddish brown and the hairdresser didn’t use the strongest bleach out of fear of seriously damaging my hair. As a result my hair is currently… yellow.
But it’s alright. In fact, I quite like it. It’s very Kerli Kõiv/Lady Gaga.
