Inspiration collection: Fallen leaves on the ground

Summer is over for me and has been for a while now. I basically stepped into autumn when my heels touched the Estonian soil. Which was on the 25th of July… Having spent four weeks in Nice learning French in the mornings and drinking on the beach and then going to Wayne’s or High at nights and always wearing short shorts or dresses and contacts and sunglasses and having strangers complimenting me and generally being nice, and meeting new people from all these different countries almost every day and communicating and thinking in English and French and a wee bit even in Russian and realising that these people are brilliant and they get me and knowing that life is great, at least here, well, after returning home it certainly felt like the summer was over.
Head filled with all these plans of world (which had shrunk quite a bit for me) domination, I was forced to return to grim reality, back to a place where it gets chilly at night.
So yeah, summer’s over but autumn isn’t that bad either. Colourful leaves, crisp air, new beginnings and perhaps most importantly, a change of wardrobe. I want to wear cute coats and boots and scarves and tights and umbrellas already!Dioni Tabbers by Winona Barton-Ballentine for A4 (#63)
