I thought I'd dedicate a few posts to what I've worn to recent costume parties, and what inspired me. First up, Halloween. One of my coursemates held a Famous Untimely Deaths house party. I went as the glamorous Edie Sedgwick (other guests included John Lennon, Cleopatra, Lord Kitchener, Marilyn Monroe, Steve Irwin etc).
I also watched The Factory Girl. The storyline was a bit of a mess, but I was surprised at how good Sienna Miller was in it. Plus, the wardrobe and make up were to die for.
I am on a roll today! But don't expect any posts next week; I shall be cramming for my worst (but last, woo!) exam then. Anyway, I went shopping yesterday, and here's what I bought. The umbrella and the eyeshadow kit are from H&M, the rest is from Primark. I was only going to town to accompany a friend, and just planning to get concealer and cosmetic pads from Boots, but I shockingly came back with bags full of flowers and bows and the colour pink. Which seems to prove that, sadly, I'll never be able to fully embrace androgynous style. I just can't function without my girly fix. Because, look how cute!
