Hair New Era

I read Estonian singer Kerli’s answers to a bunch of 'if' questions on Buzznet and decided to try to answer them myself. These kinds of questions are very abstract and can be kind of infuriating, but they’re a great imagination exercise.

If I were a kind of weather, I’d be a rainbow in drizzle.

If I were a colour, I’d be glittering pink.

If I were an emotion, I’d be glee.

If I were a fruit, I’d be a watermelon (although it’s technically a berry – imagine that!): Hard on the outside, sweet and pink on the inside. But full of dark seeds.

If I were a sound, I’d be heels clicking on the pavement.

If I were a food, I’d be strawberry and basil sorbet.

If I were a place, I’d be an eclectic and slightly messy attic apartment in the middle of the city.

If I were a taste, I’d taste like sour candy. The intensity may make your eyes water, but it’s totally addictive!

If I were a scent, I’d be the smell of a new book.

If I were an object, I’d be an inspiration board.
