Miss me?

Okay, this vacation from my blog is officially over. I’m back home and ready to pick up where I left off. (Even though the amount of blogs I need to catch up on is frankly a bit frightening. But it’ll be highly rewarding, I’m sure.)
So, as you probably know, I spent four weeks in Chambéry brushing up and improving my French. Also, making friends from all over the world, learning about foreign cultures and educating others on mine. Chambéry is lovely little town in the Alps, but be warned: not the place with any real night life going on. I learned that the hard way.
Still, on the whole, the experience was amazing.
After that, I travelled a bit in Switzerland and Germany with my family (because, of course, they’d visited Italy and Southern France before meeting up with me). They even dragged me to a beer hall to watch the Germany-Argentina game with hundreds of German fans. Fun fact: I’d unknowingly dressed up in the colours of the Argentinean flag. But I wasn’t even the only one. However, I was the only one who got bored after about five minutes and went out to sit on the grass and read French Glamour. I haven’t watched any of the games this year (or ever, really). Simply because I find watching sports utterly dull. Sorry.
Anyway, went back home through Sweden and spent a nostalgically classic few hours in Stockholm filled with H&M and Pizza Hut.
Here are a few pictures from Chambéry:
A girl from South Korea asked me if I dressed in that colourful way of mine in Estonia as well. Because while she’d love to dress similarly, she’d only imagine doing it in France, because in Korea people would be staring and judging. (And she didn’t even see any of my crazier-looking outfits!) I realised that in Estonia they probably do, too. And that I just don’t care.
